Weifang is in the middle of Shandong province, China. Favorable geographical position is relatively, the communications is very convenient. Thus, when I want to go somewhere, I can get here easily. Weifang is the city where I grew up. I love it although it is a small city. Living there makes me very happy because there a lot of my favorite things.There are many special local products: Folk Handicrafts, characteristic foods, tourist sites and so on. The most famous Folk Handicrafts includes that the woodblock painting of Yangjiabu, paper cutting in Gaomi and kites. These items are all Folk Art. Kite-flying is a traditional custom in Weifang. There are lots kinds of style of weifang kites. When I was child my grandfather taught me how to make the simple kites and fly them. In an open field, when I first time running against the wind and fly my kite into the air. I feel very happy and achievability. My heart also follows the kite fly in the sky. It is so free and makes me relax. Weifang has held the International Kite Festival every year in April. The International Kite Festival is just held in Weifang all over the world. At this time numerous kite lovers from all over the world go there to fly their own kites. So Weifang Kites more and more famous in China and abroad. Thus Weifang is also known as the “World Kite Capital”. In the middle of the city is built the “world kite capital commemoration square”.
The characteristics foods are too many to enumerate, such as Overturned Pot, green radish and so on. The most noteworthy is the weifang green radish. This green radish is a unique variety in Weifang. Cultivation has 400 years of history. It is very beneficial for our health. The green radish has lots of vitamins. Eating it frequently could get rid of sputum, clear away heat and toxic material, promote digestion and so on. Especially healthy is eat radish and drink teas at the same time. These foods are all very delicious. When my classmates study in other city, they always state that they miss these foods a lot.
Weifang has several famous tourist sites: Fuhua amusement park, the world kite capital commemoration square, Weifang World Kite Museum and so on. My favorite one is Fuhua amusement park. There is roller coaster, Ferris wheel, carrousel, ghost house, pirate ship more than 30 attractions. Holiday time, I will go here with my best friends. We will play every project. Even some of these will be make us feel afraid. Here let us forget troubles and leave happy memories.

i think the story is good but you should talk more on the the International Kite Festival than talking on green radish like you say alot of nurtient facts about radish that you can delete it and talking on the history of the existance of radish more important than talking about the health benefit

After reading your story, I can feel your love of your hometown. I am interested in the Kite Festival and different kinds of snack you discribed in your story. However, I can't find more relation with yourself. I am willing to see more about your feelings and emotion in the story:)
