Summary of “ Plagiarism? Are you kidding?”

The video“ Plagiarism? Are you kidding?” by Joel Bloch shows that what is the citing sources properly. According to this video, the creator claims that the boy’s professor gave him an academic writing about all of he had reading. But the boy thinks citing all of sources will waste long time and represent every sentence is very difficult. The girl suggests that just used the main ideas can stranger his argument and citing sources is the rule can help him think about what he will doing. The girl also point out that he can uses his own ideas based on understanding of all these text or just citing the important content. The boy worried about citing everything is plagiarized. The girl notes that citing sources sometimes can strengthen his arguments, sometimes can providing more information and sometimes can demonstrating where he is read. If he didn’t know how to distinguish between his and others ideas, then the citing is plagiarized.
I think that this video argues that the important of citing sources properly. In my past education, almost no citing sources in my paper. My teacher gave assessment of my paper is not wonderful. After watching this video, I find the important reason of it that is citing sources. Citing sources properly can helps content of my paper more rich and wonderful. But we just need to pay attention to distinguish between own and others ideas when we citing sources in our writing.
