The picture above in this page is my roommate Matthew Clements, he is from Cleveland and he is sophomore of OSU as mechanical engineering major. The reason for why I choose his picture to my digital story, because he gives me a lot of helps, when I first come to America.

It is my first time to go and to live on abroad. I met many problems of living and studying in a new environment. Such as, I did not know how to enroll in school, how to choose courses, and how to study in America. But Matthew is a very helpful guy, he patiently answered what I was confused. And he got me a ride to Supermarket to buy comfort and some daily uses. Also, Study in OSU is totally different with my precious school, I did not find the best way to study, but Matthew is top student in school, so he helped me to solve my study problems and gave me many useful suggestions on changing study method. He is knowledgeable person, he told me many interesting story about American culture and history. I also improved my English by talking with him. Moreover, he is really interested in Chinese culture. After He knew that I do not like American foods, he invited me to his home to cook Chinese food for me. Honestly, he is a good cooker and a good guy.

After his helps, I gradually fit in American life. I could not adapt in American life quickly without his helps. We become pretty good friend right now, so I post his photo to appreciate his helps.
