Self introduction by Shengyu

Hello everyone, my name is Shengyu Chi. I was born in Daqing, where has the biggest oil deposit in China. When I was twelve, my father wants me to get higher quality of education, so we moved to Beijng, and living there until now. My childhood is very happiness. In primary school, my parents did not compel me to learn any of extra work, so I have a lot of private time to find my hobbies. I can play soccer, basketball, badminton and table tennis, although, I do not play it very well. When I found a new interest, my parents always encourage me, and respect my option. They consider that I should make the decision of my live, instead of obey their ideas. In my high school life, I heard a mass of information about study abroad and lots of my friends planed to study outside. It noticed me that there is another road to get a more independent education, and I wanted to have a try. Finally, I came here, and I love this school and the life here. The weather here is similar to Beijing and environment is much better than Beijing. People here do not have to live in fast lane. They always walking slowly and enjoying the view, enjoying their life. I have looked forward to this kind of life for a long time, and got it at here. In spare time, I go to Rpac, playing basketball with my friends. Basketball is an important way for me to meet people, and it also impels me getting stronger. I love living at here! I know what I want and my life is substantial. What I need to do is keep enjoying it! Besides, I’m glad to have a teacher who has been to China, so he won’t pronounce my name in strange sounds.
